Tina Zagyva lives and works in her native homeland of Central NY. Zagyva began her studies at Burton Ramer Technical Career Center, where her focus was on the flow of charge through various materials and devices; the study of electronics. In 2006, she was awarded with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from SUNY Oswego, where she developed a practice rooted in performance, video and intervention. Zagyva has been the recipient of several honors including the SCAC Grant, McNair Scholar, Grant Arnold Award, as well as given presentations at Quest; a symposium, McNair Scholars National Conference and At the Intersection; a conversation between art and visual technologies. Zagyva is currently the director of market research and graphic design for Northshore Oil Co, Inc., Instructor of Imaging Technology at Bryant and Stratton College while pursuing her Master of Fine Arts degree in the graduate program provided by Maine College of Art. |
